Recent technology and business model innovations have made it even easier for SMEs to expand and scale their operations beyond their country borders. SMEs in developed economies have also benefited from regulatory policies designed to even the playing field and boost competition. Successful SMEs need to find a way to persevere and adapt to the evolving economy. The impact of COVID across sectors will also be discussed.
